It was Turtleback Elementary School's annual Jog-a-thon fundraiser today. Each student collects pledges for either a set or per lap amount to be donated to the PTA. They had a half hour to run as many laps as they could around a quarter-mile track. The weather was beautiful and the kids all seemed to have a great time. Rachel and Daniel worked hard!
Dad took several laps with them in his heelys and got called out by the DJ, "We've got an adult out there cheating--no heeling!" He looked awesome.
The kids both ran 11 laps and won blue ribbons!
Rachel tied with Ayah & Ariana for most laps run by a first grade girl and Daniel took first for the most laps in his class. They were happy.
