STRESS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This has been one CRAZY week! We started off Monday by filling out passport forms online for me and all four kids because we are heading to Mexico tomorrow and didn't realize until that weekend that my passport expired the first of March and the kids now need passports for Mexico--unlike a year and a half ago when we went. The next five--FIVE--hours were spent picking up kids, getting passport pictures, waiting in line, getting itineraries, having things stamped a million times, driving here and there and writing checks, all the while trying to keep kids happy and quiet. Not an easy task in the post office. When was the last time you played "Mother May I" in a public echo-prone location? Not for the faint of heart. We ended up in Pt. Loma so we ended the day at Seaport Village where we split nachos, a caramel apple and rode the carousel. And we had our passports FedEx'd to us Saturday, so all's well that ends well. Spencer has a guy he uses to expedite things in person for all his international travel and he was awesome. Tony's the man. He told us to go enjoy the vacation and then come back and face the music. I'm not even going to think about it.

We also decided to list the house this week so the sign is up and the garage is full. We recarpeted this week with all the packing up and moving around that that entails. We got bids from two painters and set one up to come while we're gone. We took everything off the walls and wiped down. We packed a ton of boxes to empty out the house. We got a bid to re-sod the backyard.

The kids were watching "The Incredibles" while I was packing/cleaning the kitchen yesterday and the part came on when the mom and kids were headed to the island and they see missiles coming towards the plane and she's shouting, "Abort, abort, there are children on board!" I started to cry. Yeah.

I'm ready for vacation! Los Cabos, here we come.
