Cabo San Lucas

We just got back from a wonderful week in Los Cabos. The weather was perfect, the scenery gorgeous and the water fabulous! We all had such a good relaxing time. I read a book a day--it doesn't get any better then reading on the beach. We saw several whales breach and spout. It was breathtaking. Definitely a great vacation!

The swimming pool was so fun. It was super warm and started out with just a few inches of water, which Eric loved! He also loved crawling into the pool at the deep end, or just scooting forward into it and bobbing back up like a potato. We did it over and over again. He loves the water.
And the locals all loved Eric. They all wanted to touch him and hold him or talk to him. There was a waiter who remembered his name and would walk past us at the pool and ask if Senor Eric wanted anything, perhaps a little pineapple juice? We heard the endearing little nickname "Gordito" once, and I can only hope they were referring to Eric.

Snorkeling! Rachel & Sarah both went snorkeling with Daddy. Sarah just used the mask, but Rachel loved the feeling of breathing with her face in the water. She used the snorkel in the swimming pool a lot too and pretended to be a mermaid. She loves to swim! The water felt good and the fish were all right off the beach, less then 5o feet away. It was beautiful.

The sand was very coarse, made of bits of coral and shells. It brushed right off. We found lots of cool shells and LOTS of crabs! Here are two of our smallest friends, Rachel's hermit crab "Herman" and Sarah's little "Crabby." There were also HUGE crabs, but though we caught some with our hands, we never caught them on camera.

Playing with Grandma's hat while the bigger boys play football. The inlaws vs. the outlaws.
Aunt Jen was a good sport to be buried, complete with crustacean shell accessories.
Snuggling up with Uncle Bryan. The kids had their separate room and Eric slept in the family room area so everyone was well rested.
Well, it is back to reality. The landscaper came and finished up today and the painter will finish Monday. A couple knocked on our door from another ward and took a tour through our place today and if their condo sells would love to buy it. That would be awesome if that worked out. We've loaded the POD 2/3rds full from the garage. Crazy!
If I get too stressed I can close my eyes, breathe deeply and think of sitting on the beach in Cabo.
