Our weekends had been full and then Spencer was out of town, but we finally made it to Bates' Nut Farm--our annual tradition--on October 30th! A bonus was that the Bic Mac pumpkins were all on sale for a flat $10. So we were able to take home this 100 lb beaut. :) Spencer is the Strong Man in our circus!
It even felt a bit like fall with a cloudy sky complete with a beautiful rainbow--such a novelty around here.
But it still wasn't cold enough for Eric to keep his shoes on!

We headed home for Hot Dog Mummies and pumpkin carving. Daniel made a cool free hand skull but wasn't as keen on cleaning out his pumpkin--the girls were pretty speedy and separated the seeds which we roasted the next morning. Holidays are fun fun fun!

I love the picture of all 5 kids in the pumpkin cut outs. We tried to get the boys to poke their heads through long enough to get a picture but it wasn't really happening.
