Rachel and Daniel had their first piano recital this month and it was a great experience. Their teacher made it a Halloween Open House concert so the kids came in costumes anytime between two and five and played their Halloween songs for whoever was there (in our case it was just our family and Grandma and Grandpa and Uncle Bryan--thanks guys!) and then have treats. Fun and no pressure. They've come a long way in a few months and are enjoying it. It brings back a lot of childhood memories for me!

I love the idea of the no pressure recital! I always got SOOO nervous playing in front of everyone.
