Halloween at School

The school day started with the Halloween parade! Eric loved seeing all the fun costumes! Then he went with Grandma to play at home because I was in charge of Daniel's party.

Daniel's class didn't have a room mom this year and I was talking to Spencer about it. He told me just wait!! So I waited a bit and asked his teacher again (she is WonderWoman) and they still didn't have one so I gulped and volunteered with a big disclaimer. This was my first big event not counting the Harvest Festival baskets. I worked on it a little everyday and it worked out to be a fun party for the kids!
We started with an hour of craft/food stations:

Stone-faced pumpkins, rocks I found and painted. They turned out cute!

Ghostly Gobble & Cookie Decorating

Witches' popcorn hands
and decorating Halloween buckets and a cute q-tip skeleton project.
After lunch we did games: Ghost-Ghost-Goblin, Spooky Twister, Ring around the Pumpkin, Musical Tombstones, and Monster Marble shoot. It was fun and nice to be finished with!

Sarah was in good company in her class!
