Melanie Justine

Melanie was born 3 weeks ago on June 21st--her due date!
I had written on my calendar June 20th, but the doctor changed my date to the 21st so that makes 5 babies on 5 due dates. Crazy!
We thought she would be here in record time as I reached 9.5 cm within 3 hours (which for me is REALLY fast) but as you can see from her poor little forehead, she was turned funny and quite stuck. After waiting 5 hours in transition for half a centimeter (I love epidurals!) and a blessing to avoid a c-section, we were thrilled to be told we had a new baby girl!
She was 8lb 11oz and 21" long and never lost an ounce. She is eating and sleeping like a pro and we all love her.
