I told the kids I was going to the Philippines and immediately Daniel responded almost in tears that I could not go to there.
"Because those people are wicked and rich and will kill you."
"What?!" I responded. "They are very nice people who are poor and we need to help them."
"Is it by Jerusalem?" Daniel asks.
"Oh . . . It's the Philippines Daniel. Not the Philistines."
Proof that some of the scripture lessons are sinking in.

Loved the pictures! What a neat experience. I'd really like some of that water, and I am surprised you didn't get me a frog skin cap.
