Party Central

In November, Sarah turned 4 on the 14th and Daniel turned 6 on the 17th!

Sarah had a pajama party with 5 little friends. They were so cute. They decorated pillowcases, played "musical blankies", had their fingernails painted and had pizza and cake.

Daniel had a Power Ranger Party on Saturday, and Dad made it home in the nick of time from playing in the Cystic Fibrosis Tennis Tournament--we had gone to watch him play in the morning. It was a beautiful day and he played really well. We were so proud. :)

The Power Ranger Training Camp was a hit. They decorated shields and went through a variety of tests: Be Careful (Egg race), Teamwork (water balloon games), Be Observant (Don't Eat Pete), etc. and put them all together at the end to become a true Power Ranger in a fun obstacle course Spencer put together. A pinata finished the party.

Sunday we had a fun family party at the Sabins and Monday they opened their cards from Grandma & Grandpa Plumb in England and Uncle Spencer in New York.

We sort of debated whether to give the gifts we had for them after such a fun week--they were totally content and I don't think had even realized they hadn't opened something from Mom & Dad. But we had a bike for Daniel and he had completely outgrown his old one--his knees stuck out at 45* angles as he tried to pedal. So he got a new bigger bike with no training wheels. We went across the street to try it out in the soccer field. He picked it up quickly and Sarah enjoyed riding her tricycle down the trails--and right into the bushes!
